Therapeutic Arts Practice
for Children, Adolescents and Adults.
I am Louise (she/her), and I offer private Therapeutic Arts Practice sessions in the inner northern suburbs of Naarm (Melbourne), Australia. I hold a Master’s Degree in Creative Arts Practice and am a professional member of ANZACATA (which is the peak body for Arts Therapists in Australia and New Zealand).
Louise Specialises in working with:
Women going through life transitions (parenthood, career transition, relationship transition, grief and loss, menopause)
Children and young people facing challenges at school.
Couples facing challenges or seeking to deepen connection.
Experience
I have worked with children for the last twenty years as a specialist art teacher in primary, secondary and specialist school settings. I have hosted creative workshops for adults and watched as participants find delight in the opportunity to create, having often not afforded themselves this time or space since adolescence.
In all of these roles and settings, I have seen creative practices open opportunities for connection and learning.
Louise Offers
Sessions for children, young people, and adults.
Individual sessions and shared sessions for people in relationships with one another.
Sessions utilising a range of modalities of creative practice including painting, drawing, collage, ceramics as well as movement, voice, and instrumental music.
